PT Citra Tambang Lestari Group (hereinafter referred to as CTL) serves as the parent company of a group of businesses operating in the mining and industrial estate sectors.
Established in February 2022, CTL Holdings focuses on developing businesses across several mining commodities, including silica sand, bauxite, coal, and others. The company is committed to advancing these ventures alongside downstream projects, aligning with Indonesia’s Mineral and Coal Mining Laws (Law No. 4 of 2009 and Law No. 3 of 2020). These regulations mandate the establishment of mineral processing facilities to enhance the value of raw materials before export.
In the short to medium term, CTL Holdings is spearheading the development of an industrial estate in Sukamara, Central Kalimantan. This estate will span an impressive 5,000 hectares, situated in Pantai Lunci Sub-district, Sukamara Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. The project is managed by PT Sungai Tabuk Industri, a subsidiary of CTL Holdings, and has been officially designated as a National Strategic Project (Proyek Strategis Nasional/PSN) by the Indonesian government.
The estate’s ambitious development plan includes establishing advanced mineral processing facilities over the next five years. These facilities will cover the production of:
- Bauxite processing plants producing alumina.
- Silica sand refinement facilities, achieving silica purity levels of up to 99.999%.
- Silicon ingot and silicon metal industries, along with other derivative products.
